Holy Avtar Vani - Shabad No. 155
Jehrha vali sare jag da karda jo rakhwali ey;
Jis de man vich pyar nahin ehda soch samajh ton khali ey.
Riddhiyan siddhiyan te nau nidhiyan jis sewa ton panda ey;
Maya picche lag ke prani usnun bhulda janda ey.
Ghat ghat andar vaas hai jisda har dam haazar naazar ey;
Khalkat sari bhulli baithi kehrha is da kaadar ey.
Jisdi bakhshish naal asaanun kul duniyan vich maan mile;
Antkaal jo hove sathi dargahin jo aan mile.
Sabhe lokin bhul ke ehnun aiven saman guzaar rahe;
Kahe avtar kare gur kirpa tan eh yaad muraar rahe.
Meaning
Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, God is the creator and saviour of everything in this world, but man tends to forget HIM. It’s only with True Master’s grace, one can remember God all the time. God is the Supreme Lord of the universe, who looks after one and all. A person who is devoid of love for Him, is certainly deprived of thought and wisdom. God, from whose service one attains miraculous powers, in the pursuit of material wealth, man is ignoring Him. God, who dwells in every being, and is present all the time everywhere, the whole mankind has forgotten as to who is their Creator. God, with whose grace we get respect all over the world, God, who shall be with us at the end, and come to our rescue in His own Kingdom, having forgotten Him, all the people are wasting their time; Avtar says, if the True Master is kind and gracious, only then one remembers God.
